FAQs

  • Delphi Catalyst is an incubator that provides early-stage capital alongside operational support within a well-defined 6-month (26-week) program.

After a startup is selected for Catalyst, the 6-month program begins with onboarding and discovery sessions. The first 2 months focus on a deep dive into brand building, business modeling, and addressing core needs with our team of Advisors. You'll have access to the following resources:

    • Project Lead: Operational leader focused on project management, resource connections, and fundraising.

    • Project Administrator: Support with scheduling, communication, organization, and day-to-day program logistics.

    • Fractional CFO: Dedicated hours to help create, refine, or enhance your business model.

    • Marketing & Design Team: A team of experts to help create, refresh, or build additional branding and materials (including website).

    • Legal: Focused legal Advisor to help with specific vertical focus, contracting, or fundraising.

    • Specialty Advisors: Full access to a pool of advisors who specialize in diverse verticals in the psychedelics industry and related fields to help find product-market fit, validate business ideas, and identify key strategic partnerships. These specialists bring expertise from healthcare, drug development, insurance, government, medicine, research, technology, and more.

After the initial 2-month deep dive, all resources listed above remain involved throughout the following 4 months to help each startup reach their goals and stay on track toward product-market fit, scale, and potential fundraising.

  • Delphi Catalyst makes a total capital contribution of $225,000 to each early-stage startup. $150,000 is a direct investment to be used for operational and/or capital expenses. The remaining $75,000 covers a set of well-defined Delphi Catalyst services provided during the 6-month program. For more information on available services, please refer to "How does Delphi Catalyst work?"

  • Delphi Catalyst takes a founder-friendly approach to investment. We typically structure our investments using SAFE notes (Simple Agreement for Future Equity) or similar instruments that allow founders to maintain control while building their companies. Our investment terms are designed to support rather than hinder future fundraising rounds. If selected, our Deal Team will work with you to determine appropriate terms based on your company's stage, existing capitalization, and future growth plans.

  • The Delphi Catalyst program is scheduled to start in May/June 2025. We will onboard 2 newly selected startups every 2 months. After the initial 2 companies have started, Delphi Catalyst will qualify 2 additional startups to begin in 60 days. This selection and onboarding process continues until 10 startups have been selected.

  • Delphi Catalyst is a fully remote program. All resources and advisors will communicate with startups online.
